For some adults, the calm presence of a trained therapy dog can support grounding, emotional regulation, and a greater sense of ease during therapy sessions.
This service may be helpful for adults experiencing anxiety or chronic stress, trauma responses, emotional regulation challenges, difficulty opening up in therapy, depression or low mood, sensory overload, ADHD- or autism-related stress, feelings of loneliness, or disconnection.
The dog’s presence can make sessions feel more relaxed and less intimidating. Many clients find it easier to express themselves, explore emotions, or engage in grounding exercises when they have a comforting companion beside them.
We tailor each session to your comfort level—whether you prefer gentle interaction, structured grounding activities with the dog, or simply having a calming presence in the room. Together, we create an emotionally safe space where healing can unfold at your pace.
